Another attraction for cyclists is the 203G road, which winds through the forest for 16 km, being almost unused by cars. This is the perfect location for a weekend bike ride. Starting at the Izvoranu Cottage, you will bike for 6 km until you reach Leiculesti and then continue through the forest until you reach Monteoru.

Nature, our good friend
Trips through these forests are unforgettable: surreal tranquillity, unique wildlife and fresh air. At any moment deer and rabbits may burst from the bushes so keep your camera handy.
Rich in truffles
Situated on the same parallel as the Italian region Piemont, the Izvoranu forest challenges you to discover the treasures buried under its leaf layer. At ground level or as deep under the group as 8 to 10 cm you can find truffels, the most valuable mushrooms that nature has to offer.
Our skilled four-legged friends will help you unearth and pick the “black diamonds” of the earth, guiding you from summer to the end of February on this special journey.
We welcome you to a unique “truffle hunting” experience, a perfect sport for those who love nature, dogs and delicacies.
The Izvoranu lake is inhabited by various species of fish such as trout, carp or catfish.
